Project SHARE is a way for the citizens of Dalton, Whitfield and Murray counties to help their neighbors in need. How does Project share work?
Customers agree to add $1, $2, $5 or more to their regular monthly utility bill. Dalton Utilities adds the pledged amounts to customers’ bills each month. The funds are transferred at the end of each month to the Salvation Army, who administers the assistance money to families in emergency situations.
If you would like to help families in need pay their utility bills, just fill out the form provided and submit it. Dalton Utilities will then add the amount pledged to your utility bill each month. At the end of each month, Project SHARE monies are forwarded to the Salvation Army.
