Everyone likes a healthy yard. With these tips, your lawn will be the talk of the town. Enjoy your lush new lawn with these tips:
- Spread mulch around your garden. A layer of mulch can improve the look of your flowerbeds and helps retain moisture so you can save water.
- Make an effort to be more energy-efficient and eco-friendly in the yard this summer. Opt for a manual push mower rather than a gas- or electric-powered model.
- When the weather warms up, take your chores outdoors. Line-dry your laundry to help curb your energy consumption.
- Dust off your grill and make dinner outside tonight. You’ll save energy by not running the oven or stove. Watch this video for more energy-efficient meal prep ideas from the Alliance to Save Energy
