Dalton Utilities, with cooperation from the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (DNR), will be holding three quota hunts for deer during the 2011 hunting season. Selections for these hunts will be drawn randomly by the DNR.
Applications must be received by 10 a.m. September 13, 2011. No faxes will be accepted.

Legal Weapons:
- Firearm Hunts – .22 caliber or larger centerfire rifles and handguns, shotguns with slugs (no buckshot), muzzleloading firearms, bows and arrows, and crossbows may be used.
Applicants should mail a postcard with the following information:
- Any applications that are NOT received on postcards OR missing any of the following information will be discarded. (you may send postcards in a regular envelope)
- Name (Youth Hunt applicants must list names of both adult and child) Adult and child can apply separately. Adult only can apply for General Hunts. DO NOT list the child’s name twice.

- Daytime and Nighttime phone number
- Birth date (Adult/Child applicants list birth dates for both adult and child.)
- Hunt selection in order of preference by hunt number (i.e., 3, 1, 2)

Additional Information:
- Applications must be received by 10 a.m. September 13, 2011. No faxes will be accepted.
- Only one application per hunter will be accepted. Hunters that send more than one application will be disqualified.
- All hunters will be given assigned hunting areas.
- All hunters selected for a hunt must report to the check-in station between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. on the day before the hunt for mandatory orientation, assignment of hunting area, and scouting. Failure to report by 5 p.m. will result in disqualification from the hunt.
- Hunt schedules are subject to change. Dalton Utilities will assess the results of each hunt and will make the necessary adjustments to provide maximum availability to hunters, while assuring optimal performance of the Land Application System.
- Information for hunters wishing to donate unwanted deer will be available to those selected for the hunts.
