Network Technician

Duties:
Overall duties of this position include, but not limited to, construction, repair, and maintenance of the Optilink fiber plant. The Network Technician will help provision and maintain all Wide Area Network (WAN)and Metropolitan Area Network (MAN) as assigned. Technician will also be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of Optilink equipment for all residential and business customers.

Required Skills:
Must posses a basic knowledge of cable, telephone and computer systems. Must possess an aptitude for problem troubleshooting; cable termination and fiber optic splicing, and care in maintaining vehicles and tools. Bucket truck operation may be required.

This position is regular hours 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. Occasionally, work after normal business hours may be required - some weekends, etc. including standby.

Pay Range: $14.81-$25.45
