Dewatering Facility Operator
An opening is available for a Dewatering Facility Operator in the Watershed Services Department. Overall duties include, but are not limited to, maintaining a safe working environment, cleaning equipment and facilities, operating the dewatering facility to include monitoring gauges, meters, operating computers, collecting samples, performing routine checks of equipment for proper mechanical condition, operating loaders, and dump trucks and other various equipment.
Must be computer literate and able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to operate dump trucks and front end loaders. Education/Certification/Licensing Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required. Must be able to obtain Class III Wastewater license within 18 months and Commercial Driver’s Licenses (CDL’s) within 12 months. CDL permit must be applied for within the first 30 days of entering this position.
This position is an 11 hour shift, from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. or 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., or 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. 4 days per week. Shift rotates every 3 months. The hours and shifts are subject to
Pay Range: $12.43 -$14.32
