Assistant Operator (Wastewater)

Duties:
An opening is available for Wastewater Operator Assistant in the Wastewater Treatment Department. Overall duties include, but are not limited to providing assistance to plant operator, starting and stopping pumps, dumping chemicals, adjusting pump speed, collecting wastewater samples, monitoring wastewater elevations, etc.

Required Skills:
Must be computer literate and able to lift 50 lbs. Must be at least Class III certified operator within 18 months.

This position is a 12 hour shift from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 4 days on and 4 days off. Shift will rotate from day to night every 4 months.

Pay Range: $9.90/hr - $11.86/hr
