How to Read Your Bill (Page 2)

Page 1

Water Service (if applicable)
This part of your bill outlines water service charges for your current billing period.

Wastewater Service (if applicable)
This part of your bill outlines wastewater service charges for your current billing period. Please note that all water and wastewater services are billed separately. Note: Wastewater charges for summer months are based on a customer's average water usage during winter months, not actual summer water usage. This procedure was established because summer water usage normally includes outdoor water use that does not flow into the sewage collection system.

Security Lights (if applicable)
This part of your bill outlines security light charges for your current billing period.

Other Charges (if applicable)
This part of your bill outlines miscellaneous charges as they apply to your account. An example of charges you will find detailed in this area of your bill would include Sprinkler, Fire Hydrant and Project Share charges.

This part of your bill outlines natural gas service charges for your current billing period. A bar chart illustrates your natural gas consumption for the past 13 months. Note: If you use gas for heating, you will notice a large spike in usage during the cold-weather months.
