Simply put, Dalton Utilities’ water facilities produce the highest value, highest quality water in the area. Our facilities have received Gold and Platinum Awards from the Georgia Association of Water Professionals (GAWP) for excellence in operations for eight consecutive years. Additionally, we have received the GAWP Water Treatment Plant of the Year Award numerous times, the GAWP Water Distribution System of the Year Award, GAWP's Drinking Water Taste Test Award for our Freeman Springs Plant and the GAWP Water Laboratory QA/QC Award.

At Dalton Utilities, we believe that a top-notch operation is staffed by top-notch people with valuable expertise. A large percentage of our water staff holds the highest water certifications from the State of Georgia. Our laboratory technicians hold double certifications in water and wastewater.
